A tribute to my closest friend who passed away - this is a musical adventure designed to take us through Al's life, generally speaking. The story begins with us walking into his bar, grabbing a seat, having a beer, and getting on stage to jam out. We weren't much of a vocalist, so this sets the stage to remind the listener that this will be mostly instrumental. You'll be bombarded with Pink Floyd influences throughout the song and album. As we come to the end of the first song, we hear Al leave the bar (keys jingling). The second song heads to his wedding, where we get to visualize Al and Laura's joy through a lovely waltz. As we watched them dance their first dance, it was as if they were floating above the floor. The Ring is in the Zipper (an inside joke about their wedding rings) attempts to capture the image of that first dance. Moving along to the third song. This symbolizes the mood Al brought to work every day, if you worked with him it was hard to have a bad time on any shift, there was always something he was planning to keep things entertaining. This song had best put you in a good mood. Finally, we reach the final song and it's as simple as speaking out against white supremacy and the evil that comes along with such views and visions.

If you don't enjoy your listen, I will eat a bacon sandwich.
    No lettuce.
    No tomato.
    Just a bacon sandwich.
    Just bacon.
    No bread.

After the final song, there is a bonus track - it features the man himself, Al Mazelis, on lead guitar. Recorded back in 1999 on a Tascam 4 track by 2 people with no idea what they were doing with recording equipment.

Hold my Beer 05:53
Well we wrote a little piece of new music, A little treat for your ears But now we need to find someone whose voice can bring us all to tears As we ask around, our fan interferes and says "just grab that ax and create a great atmosphere" I said "OK, hold my beer"

about

Why $5.14? Al's Birthday was May 14.
What do I get for my money? You get the 4 songs produced for the tribute album PLUS you get a bonus track that features Al playing lead guitar back in 1999 on my Tascam 4 track in my Mom's basement. MOST IMPORTANTLY - $1.14 from each album sale will go into a college fund for Al's son, Max.

So, what do you get? You get to hear a tribute to Al, you get to hear Al, and you get to help support Al and his family.

ALL FOR THE PRICE OF A ( actually probably less_) STARBUCKS COFFEE.

Sounds like a killer deal to me.
